The Choice Is Yours

If you’ve ever had someone in your life who was really interested in knowing all about you including the tiniest details, you know how that can make you feel so special and loved.  Now, imagine the Creator of the Universe being even more interested and loving you more than you ever thought possible. Well, it’s true! And when you open up your life to him, he’ll work in amazing ways and you’ll also receive the incredible gift of eternal life.

In the Bible, Jesus said, “Here I am!  I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in…” So, it’s up to you.  He’s not going to barge in on your life unless you invite him in.  He’s given you free will to choose him or not.  I hope you’ll choose Him, because when you do, you choose life.  Take that first step to be in a personal and real relationship with Him and you’ll be on your way to an exciting adventure!

With Love,
-Martha

Oh I believe he does barge in on our lives...he sure knocked Paul off of that horse on the road to Damascus..there was no knocking there. What is my free will if not yet one more thing in this world that is submissive to the great will of God? I am glad he barges...because for most of us, apart from being knocked down, nothing else will get us saved. I don't know about everybody else but I'd much rather have my life invaded than to die in my sins and never see the face of the Father.
    Have a Blessed day!

Dear Martha, I already have a spiritual walk with Our Lord Jesus Christ. He is my personal savior and I also try to walk in his word daily. I belong to New Beginnings Bible Fellowship and am on the Worship Team and teach Sunday School one Sunday a Month. I realize that Jesus will always help me and take care of my needs. He will answer my prayers too. It may not be in my time, but in His, but He does answer every one of my prayers. It may not always be a yes, but He gives me the strength to listen to His No's as much as to His Yes's . He is my guide and shield. I love Him with all my heart, mind and soul. Thank you for caring. • Hope In The Midst Of The Holidays

I was originally thinking about writing about how grateful I am, heading into this holiday season, that my family and I have been so incredibly blessed in so many ways. We have been, and I am. But my friend’s situation got me thinking about how the sting of suffering, whether it’s physical, relational, or psychological, can be even more acute in a season when we have a cultural expectation of joy and happiness.
