Church Connection: Christian Faith Center Federal Way

SPIRIT wants to be involved with YOUR church! We believe in the mission and ministry of churches in our community. SPIRIT 105.3 wants to partner together to reach out and share God’s love with believers and non-believers in our local area. It’s our hopes that through Church Connection, listeners who do not regularly attend church will get plugged into a local body and have a chance to grow in their faith.

In June we are partnering with Christian Faith CenterFederal Way to share God’s love. Join us on June 7th for the 9:30am and 11:30am services as we worship and fellowship together.

Christian Faith Center believes that God made you in His own image. He formed you before you were even a thought. He crafted His plan for you before you took your first breath. This life we are given is short. Fleeting. We only have one life. So don’t waste it. When you dedicate your life to God’s glory, you’ll learn something. What you will learn will prepare you for eternity. So what is it? God loves you!

Out of love, God gave only YOU your particular desires and abilities. He made YOU to be like nobody else. It doesn’t matter where you’ve been, where you’ve come from, or what you’ve done. For who else lives exactly where you live, has the friends you have, and has seen what you have seen? No one but YOU. And so, the only way to live the life God has called you to, is to… BEYOU

We are very excited to be at Christian Faith Center and hope you will join us!

"Life's a Beach" Golf Tournament presented by Puget Sound CFMA

Puget Sound Construction Financial Management Association warmly invites you to join us and our partners for a day of fun in the sun at the 2015 "Life's a Beach" Golf Tournament sponsored by Propel Insurance.

This year's theme is "Life's a Beach," so wear your best Hawaiian shirt and enjoy a round of golf, food & drinks, and the convenience of real time mobile scoring. The tournament will be held at Willows Run - Eagle Talon course.

The CFMA golf tournament is a vital part of our chapter's fundraising efforts. Proceeds for this event contribute to our scholarships and charitable donations each year. Last year, the Puget Sound and South Sound chapters contributed $10,000 for scholarships to Washington State-based university students in the fields of Accounting/Finance and Construction Management. These scholarships would not be possible without the generous participation of the players in our golf tournament each year!

 Registration is $175 per golfer.

Check-in, driving range and lunch will start at 11:30 am.

Tournament shotgun starts at 1:00 pm.

Dinner and awards to immediately follow the conclusion of the tournament.

Spikefest Charity Grass Volleyball Tournament

The Chang Family Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by tennis legend Michael Chang, will be hosting a Christian Sports League (CSL) summer event to benefit Urban Impact of Seattle, a non-profit organization whose mission is to break the cycle of social, material, and spiritual poverty in urban neighborhoods.   The Spikefest Charity Grass Volleyball Tournament will be held in hopes of raising awareness and funds for Urban Impact’s work with the people in the Rainier Valley, where 18% percent of families live below the poverty line and where 75% of Seattle's lowest performing schools are located.  This tournament is another means for community outreach to help local families in-need, where all proceeds will help provide athletic facilities, education support, health services, and guidance for a brighter future for the families in the Rainier Valley.
