Speaking Life to the World Developers, partnering with various businesses, non-profit organizations, and community members, and working in conjunction with “National Night out on Crime”, presents the 3rd Annual “Week in the Park” community event, that will take place at Spanaway Lake Park on August 5th – 8th, 2014.  There will be food, an array of sport related activities, like 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, games & prizes, live performances, guest speakers, Military & First Responders recognition, and so much more for kids, teens and adults! Event will be in a safe, family-oriented environment and is FREE of charge to everyone, including those living outside our Spanaway/Parkland community.

Also, in partnering with Pierce County's Fish Food Bank and Parks & Recreation, visitors can bring (1) or more non-perishable food items to support the fight against hunger in our "Fill the Truck Food Drive” to receive a $1 off the regular $3 park entrance fee.
