Shoreline, Lakeforest Park and Kenmore on October 6th –Northwest Mechanical joins the nonprofit American Solar Energy Society (ASES) and hundreds of solar-savvy installers and grassroots organizations throughout America to showcase more than 5,000 solar-powered homes, schools and businesses ―  in Puget Sound and across North America -- for the 17th Annual National Solar Tour, the world’s largest grassroots solar event.

 FEATURING: Free Barbecue brunch, hands on experience of solar components, technicians available to answer questions and maps of locations of other solar installations in the area to see.

    The other night, I was spending a quiet evening relaxing alone at home, when all of sudden I heard a loud clanking noise downstairs. My first thought was “What in the world did my cats knock over that would make such a racket?!” Then I realized that the kitties were upstairs with me. They had wide eyes and cautiously crept into the hallway to peer through the banister railings to investigate what was making such a clatter.
