Our keynote speaker, Buck Brannaman, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ighrNbl7eWY is a world renowned horse trainer. He was the inspiration for the film “The Horse Whisperer” starring Robert Redford. Cindy Meehl made the award-winning film “Buck” which was shortlisted for an Oscar. It describes Buck's life as an abused child and later how he overcame that to become a world renowned horse trainer. Buck also wrote a book, “Faraway Horses,” and it tells the story of how he got involved with horses and how they saved his life. We, at RRR, know exactly what he means.
