This weekend proved to be a reminder of how life can change in an instant.

On Saturday my wife and I came upon an accident that had just occurred. An SUV collided with a cyclist… whose condition looked pretty grim. As I was calling 911, my wife was assisting a nurse who stopped to help, together providing CPR on his crumpled body until the medics arrived. I learned on Monday that Paul that passed away at the hospital due to his injuries.

That Saturday morning I’m sure he thought “what nice, sunny day for a ride…”  with no inclination that a devastating event was ahead. Please pray for all those touched by this tragic accident.

For any of us, life could change in an instant. Thank God for each day you have, and ask Him to watch over those you love.
