  • The time leading up to Christmas seems kind of like a crazy frenzy of things we’ve got to do, expectations to meet (those of ours and our own), and generally a lot of rushing around. It hasn’t always been this way though. Historically, Christians have called this time of year Advent, which is a time of anticipation; a time of waiting. During Advent, we look back, anticipating the arrival of Jesus as a baby in a manger. We also look forward to His return in glory as a reigning king.

  • This is such an incredible story. A baby was burned and cared for in the hospital by a nurse. The nurse was photographed with the baby and Amanda, the baby, grew up not knowing who the nurse was. We were able to interview Amanda and hear more about her story and this beautiful reunion.

  • My daughter Camille and I had the chance to go on a mission trip to Guatemala with a group from our church earlier this summer. We were working in the communities surrounding the Guatemala City dump. People scratch out their existence there scavenging for whatever they can recycle, sell, or make into something in the trash. It’s pretty overwhelming to think about, even more to experience firsthand.
