  • I’ll be honest I have never really been an American Idol fan. My Mom however watched religiously and especially the finale last month! She was so excited to share with me. The only person I really wanted to see was Carrie Underwood. Now, I am a huge fan of her. Not only can the girl sing but she has such a heart for God. • “I need to call my friend and have lunch, it’s been way too long!” I think this and then forget. Does this ever happen to you? I regret this happening to me all too much in the past 7 years. Since I got married and had kids life is like one big tornado! My excuses are that I’m just too tired tonight, or I can’t because this week is crazy, my kids have too many activities, or my husband works a lot and I feel guilty taking the time, plus I just can’t spend the money. Any of these sound familiar? The thing is what if that person is no longer there to call?

  • As long as I can remember I’ve always wanted to be a Mom. I got my first “Baby Alive” doll when I was six; playing house was my favorite thing to do. I baby sat all the neighborhood kids in high school and even became a professional nanny for a while. But becoming a “real” Mom has completely changed my life. I can just hear my Mom say...
