Being a mom means you don’t have a lot of “extra” time to do things for yourself or to get involved with things like volunteering for important causes. THIS weekend, you can do both! World Concern's 6th annual Free Them 5k Fun Run is Saturday, May 10th. Here is why it’s do-able for busy moms like you: the actual run in Shoreline is sold out BUT the Virtual Free Them 5k allows you to run or walk whenever YOU want, wherever YOU want!
- For $25, you’ll receive the same race number and T-shirt that the May 10thShoreline participants will receive.
- Your registration fee, and any fundraising that you do, goes to World Concern’s child trafficking prevention programs, which help protect the poor and vulnerable.
- Last year, over $150,000 was raised to protect individuals from trafficking! World Concern provides prevention programs, which help protect the poor and vulnerable, providing opportunities for education and to earn income safely.
- You can register for the World Concern Virtual Free Them 5K anytime by going to worldconcern.org/5k.
So get your walking or running shoes out and be a voice against what some are calling the most horrific crime of our generation.
My plan is to participate in this Virtual Run on Saturday about 11am (let’s be real, it’ll be whenever I can escape). I’ll be posting pictures and video so follow along with us over at the allmomdoes facebook page.
I’d love for you to participate too. Wear your World Concern T-shirt and submit your pictures online. Let's make a difference together.
Who’s with me?!
