I would like prayers of concern for a summer camp which is in financial difficulties right now. And they might not be able to continue next year. This is a great camp for the kids. It has touched many lives. I should know, my kids have been going the last five years. And my wife works as the chef of the camp. They do not turn any kids away. This is a great camp. For my friend that I have loved all of my life. I would marry him if he would ask. But unfortunately he hasn't and he isn't a Christian. I think he's afraid of God. Thinks he will be struck down like lightening. We are both 44 and met when we are 18. We have been friends ever since. I believe I fell in love with him the day I met him. The hardest thing for me is to hear about and see someone I love so much, so unhappy and hurting. I imagine it's how Christ feels for us when we are hurting. I have prayed diligently for 4 years to see this man come to know the Lord and haven't seen my prayers answered. My heart aches knowing that this man lives with a woman he doesn't love who is emotionally abused, feels like a prisoner and he is afraid of her. I know God has a better plan for this man. I know that if he trusted what I tell him about God and reached out, his life would change for the better. He lives in another city. So, I always pray that he will meet someone close to him that he can learn about God from, someone to be accountable to. Maybe even someone to play golf with. Please pray for my friend, the man I love. I know that it may sound selfish, that I am praying for myself. I am truly praying for him, as it breaks my heart. But if I were married to him, unevenly yoked, my prayers would be the same, for his salvation. Thank you.

I am currently deployed to western Iraq and I have a prayer request. One of my soldiers is going through a very difficult time with his wife. She wants to divorce him because she has been seeing someone else since we left last year. He is a brother in Christ and is desperately trying to save his marriage, unfortunately I cannot let him leave Iraq. We have 4 months left of our 15 month deployment. We are praying for them and I would like everyone to pray for these two that God may intervene and soften her heart and see us through this very difficult deployment. She is meeting with family today. The family is trying to get her to see what she is doing. Thye have 2 children as well and I pray they are ok throughout this whole ordeal. Thank you so much for all you do, Spirit 105.3 is such a blessing. I feel closer to home when I am listening online and it brings hope to me and this difficult deployment.

Pray for a family with two small girls. They are having serious financial troubles with her not working and the father being out of work. It has been tough for him to find employment especially with their car not running all that great. They have twenty dollars which is to be spent on diapers. He will end up having to take a position making not much more than minimum wage. Something is better than nothing. She has been having a hard time through all of this and just getting out of bed for the day has been a real battle. She doesnt want the situation to affect the girls. She says not being able to provide for them would be the worst. The only way for her to help financially is to work from home. She has researched and come up with something but the schooling takes
6-10 weeks or so and the cost is prohibitive. There are no financial payment plans or help. They have fallen behind on bills. She says she knows the chances of being able to come up with the funds soon realistically are slim to none but God is a miracle worker.

My husband was involved in an accident that left his car totaled. It was determined to be his fault.His car was 18 years old,so we only had liability on it. The doctors say that they are 90% sure that my granddaughter – has Leukemia. Please pray that the doctors are wrong about my granddaughter having Leukemia. They will be putting Chemo in her spine, and the hospital that she is going to is not as good as the childrens hospital that she has been going to. Our 18 yr old son has been battling alcohol and drug addiction. He recently came out of rehab second time, into a sobriety house, however after there for a few months, moved back to where his friends are and now back into depths of addiction and selling drugs. I just found out today that my fiancé (we have been dating for almost 3 years) is cheating on me. One of my best friends told me. I had an idea it was going on but now I know. The girl is his ex. He already cheated once and got her pregnant and he thinks that because she had an abortion that it makes things all ok and that there is nothing to worry about. A friend of mine could use your prayers. She just turned 18 last month. Im one of the few people at work she trusts enough to talk to. A couple months ago a couple close friends of hers died. They were playing with a gun when it went off, killing one of them. The other killed himself because it was too much to bear seeing the first die. Around the same time she was kicked out of her moms house. She was helping pay all the bills and rent, but her mom is a druggie, and she just wanted her out. Her mom convinced her dad not to trust her, so she is trying to show her dad that her mom has been lying to him. A couple weeks ago she was in a 4-car accident. Left her with a back in constant pain. Everyone, including the officer that arrived at the accident, said that fault lies with the car that stalled. Now the officer and insurance companies are trying to put the blame on her, so shes trying to fight it. Yesterday was her first day back at work since the accident, and things were going well, all things considered. About an hour before she was off, she received a call from a friends mom. Another close friend was in an accident Friday night. He died either Friday night or yesterday, Im not sure when. She was up most of last night throwing up blood, and she told me she just feels all alone. I dont know if shes a believer, but she grew up in a Christian church. Last night she told me that she prayed for the first time in a very long time, and I pray God uses it to show her His love. So, right now, she could use quite a bit of Gods love and comfort. Times like these I feel like theres nothing that I can say that will help at all, and it reminds me that nothing is in my hands anyway. I have a difficult time seeing through my own clouded delusions that I can try to help people sometimes, though I do put in a good effort.

I have been fighting an addiction to smoking cigarettes for 12 years and I need a serious intervention by God to help me quit. I want to sever the grasp the enemy has on me with cigarettes. Please pray for me, God bless
