Bio:
The Seattle based rock band, kings, was formed in early 2009 with band members Joey Wandler (frontman), Hun Kim (bass), Paul Cho (drums) and David Cho (electric guitar). Their "arena rock" sound often draws comparison with the likes of U2, The Killers and Coldplay.

It wasn't long after the band came together that their passion for music drove them into the studio to record their first EP, Artist. Their producer and lead singer of The Myriad (2007 MTV2's Breakout Champions), Jeremy Edwardson, describes the EP as "moments of moody-broody heartache...real dark moments but then just these real moments of release and redemption in the songs that are really moving...that contrast makes for a real powerful listen." They had such a great time and experience in the studio with Jeremy that they headed back into the studio earlier this year with him and recorded what might be their best songs yet. Their hopes were to take their music to the next level, this time around, spending more time on the production side of the songs. They feel like they accomplished their goal and are excited about releasing two new singles in the next couple weeks that are sure to be a hit.

kings, have played in the Seattle area at venues like The Seattle Hard Rock Cafe and El Corazon, California and in the east coast and are currently working on putting a tour in 2012. For more information on the band and upcoming events/tours go to www.thecityofkings.com
