Happy soon to be 2016! What are you hoping is different this year? Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the term, "New Year’s Resolution" because it just sets me up for failure every year. I call my New Year plan adjusting my life path. God has a purpose and plan for my life.... this I know. Sometimes I don't always follow the plan, I get off course. But, I love the way He works all things for good. So, when I ran across Joanna Gaines’ testimony it got me thinking of how God is really at the helm of my ship. Even when I question his direction I need to relinquish and let Him be the captain of my life.
That’s the way I see Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is hope-filled because so many women are winning the battle more than ever before. We as a community are fighting for life!
“I need to call my friend and have lunch, it’s been way too long!” I think this and then forget. Does this ever happen to you? I regret this happening to me all too much in the past 7 years. Since I got married and had kids life is like one big tornado! My excuses are that I’m just too tired tonight, or I can’t because this week is crazy, my kids have too many activities, or my husband works a lot and I feel guilty taking the time, plus I just can’t spend the money. Any of these sound familiar? The thing is what if that person is no longer there to call?
