When I came back from the war, addiction and alcoholism came into play. I felt so alone. I felt condemned that God would not forgive me. I lived my life as an atheist. I found myself on a bridge on May 10th, 2010 ready to take my own life. I reached out to a friend of mine who was a pastor. He invited me to church and I accepted Jesus. My whole life changed. But, the guilt haunted me. Until I found SPIRIT 105.3 and was reminded my journey isn’t over. To develop my character, I’m so glad I went through the pain and suffering. Now I minster to my brothers and sisters. We lose 22 veterans a day to suicide. If I can save one life by sharing the gospel, that is more than enough. God is using this station to minister to people -Hector
