–Amazon is giving Whole Foods shoppers an early gift for the holidays. The grocer announced it’s slashing prices again, this time on several “holiday staples,” including sweet potatoes, canned pumpkin, and turkey.
–The President is heading to Capitol Hill this morning to boost momentum for his tax reform bill could be the first legislative victory since he was elected. The house expected to vote on the plan today.
—Three UCLA basketball players accused of shoplifting in China apologized publicly for their actions and thanked the president for his efforts to bring them back to the US. If the kids were tried in China they most likely would have spent 10 years in jail. UCLA has suspended the three players indefinitely.
—- Pope Francis received an early Christmas gift from Lamborghini, one of it’s an new visions of the Italian luxury car. The pope blessed the car and then put it up for auction. The pope wants to give the money to Christian communities in Iraq.
–And speaking of CARS. A man set a record at one of Disneyland’s popular attractions! John Hale has now ridden the Car’s radiator springs ride 10,000 times. This all goes back over five years ago when Jon was severely overweight had two bad knees…. He couldn’t fit into the back seat of the car. He made a pact with himself that he would lose weight and go on the ride. So weight-loss and two knee replacements later he accomplished his goal.
