Movies in the park is here and we can’t wait to join you for a fun night out under the stars. We will begin our fun on July 11th with the movie Sing. If you want to find out if this movie is right for your family, here is a movie review from our friends over at PluggedIn.

Movie Synopsis for Sing: In a city of humanoid animals, a hustling theater impresario’s attempt to save his theater with a singing competition becomes grander than he anticipates even as its finalists’ find that their lives will never be the same
Grab a blanket, a lawn chair, family, friends, neighbors or co-workers, and head to Bellevue Downtown Park to enjoy FREE outdoor movies and popcorn this summer. There are pre-movie activities planned before each movie, so come down early, stake your ground, and have some fun.
Movies begin at dusk (betwen 8:45pm and 9:30pm) and are shown under the stars on a huge, 40-foot inflatable screen with a state-of-the-art projection and sound system. Movies are free, family-friendly and carry a PG or G rating.
The series also features eight non-profit agencies, one per week. We invite you to participate by donating to the many programs and services each agency provides our community-in-need. This weeks non-profit is The Sophia Way. If you feel led to donate, they are in need of: disinfectant wipes, dishwasher pods, and facial tissue.
