Grays Harbor County sheriff’s deputies are warning residents about a ransom scam in which the caller claims to have kidnapped the child of the person they are calling. The sheriff’s office say a Central Park resident, received a call Wednesday in which he heard a young girl crying and saying ‘daddy, daddy’ several times. ‘It was a crying little girl that sounded like my 6-year-old, and I thought somebody kidnapped her. I didn’t know,’ Then a man jumped on the line, identified Stone by name and said ‘I have your daughter. If you want her… ‘ before the call disconnected. Stone called Central Park School and confirmed his daughter was there and safe. ‘My daughter was safe and all of that, but at the time, I didn’t know what was going on,’ Stone said. The call was from phone number +52 6563227320. The sheriff’s office said the number appears to be from Mexico
