Hurricane Matthew is battering the Atlantic coast of Florida and has left more that 300,000 people without power. At least 283 people have lost their lives in Haiti because of the storm, and that number is expected to rise. Matthew will continue up the east coast of the United States. Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina are under a state of emergency.
The second presidential debate with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump takes place Sunday at 8CT/6PT
If you use the Bainbridge Island ferry, you could be in for some delays today. The main boat they use on that route is being repaired. The Wenatchee was taken out of service on Thursday after it rammed the dock on Bainbridge Island. No one was injured but the ferry has a big dent and gash.
