Seattle lawmakers took an important step toward the final removal of residents living in the homeless camp known as ‘The Jungle.’—In a 4-2 vote, the Human Services and Public Health Committee voted in favor a ordinance that in essence would authorize funding for the moving of campers in the greenbelt to temporary housing or to an authorized homeless encampment.
