Spend the holiday weekend at the fair! Evergreen State Fair in Monroe finishes up their run for the year on Monday, while Washington State Fair opens the fair for the season (September 2-25 in Puyallup). Look out for the SPIRIT 105.3 booth at the fair on Monday!

Sunday, Sept 4 Seattle Ice Cream Cruise on Lake Union – Happens every Sunday throughout the year. The cruise launches from South Lake Union Park (near the northeast corner of the Museum of History and Industry). Departures take place between 11am-5pm on the hour. The 45-minute Seattle ice cream cruise is a fun, fully narrated tour around Lake Union. Among other sights, you will see where William Boeing built his first airplane, Dale Chihuly’s Lake Union studio, Gas Works Park, and many of the houseboats on Lake Union, including the houseboat from Sleepless in Seattle.
Sept 3-4, Kirkland Carillon Point Unleash your inner pirate over the three-day weekend aboard the historicTall Ships at Carillon Point. Prepare for a high sea adventure as a living history experience wows your lil’ mateys with tall ship handling demos, sea shanty singing and maritime storytelling.
Wild Waves & Enchanted Village closes it’s gates for the summer on September 5th. Featuring more than 25 amusement rides and 18 water slides and water attractions. Visitors can enjoy 70 acres of thrilling roller coasters—including the largest wooden coaster in the state—bumper cars, a Ferris wheel, a lazy river, an activity pool and more.
Last weekend to explore Jetty Island before it closes for the year. A sandy beach right in Everett! Take The Jetty Island passenger ferry from the 10th Street Boat Launch and Marina in Everett. The boat ride is just 5 minutes and from there you’ll enjoy 2 miles of beach.
