Seafair Milk Carton Derby at Greenlake The 46th annual Seafair Milk Carton Derby is here! Bigger and better than ever, this quirky celebration of creativity and boatmanship features nearly 100 colorful milk carton boats of all shapes and design. Children, adults, families and businesses all build milk carton watercraft to compete on the waters of Green Lake for fantastic prizes and bragging rights. You don’t have to be in the water to have fun at this event! Attendees can visit interactive exhibit booths, sample from food vendors, meet Seafair celebrities and more! Whether you’re participating in the races or enjoying the entertainment on the shoreline, the Seafair Milk Carton Derby is your chance for a full day of summer fun!

Outdoor Movie Night at Carillon Point in Kirkland with Minions: Come down early, set up your chair and blanket and enjoy a delicious dinner from one of our great restaurants, then relax and enjoy a late night movie on a huge screen overlooking Lake Washington. All proceeds from the evening will benefit Hopelink, a local non-profit organization dedicated to promoting self-sufficiency to members of the community. The movie will begin at dusk; the plaza will be open one hour prior to dusk for seating. Recommended $5.00 donation to Hopelink.
See Frozen at LeMay Car Museum Drive In Movie Series in Tacoma (Saturday) The drive in movie is free to the public, but does not include museum admission. The movies prove to be very popular, arrive early to reserve your spot. Parking starts at 4:30pm, showtime is around 9pm.
