A teenage skateboarder is in critical condition at Harborview Medical Centerafter being struck by a semi in Kent Thursday. The State Patrol says the 15-year-old was struck after running into oncoming traffic on Highway 516 in search of his skateboard. Harborview Medical Center spokeswoman Susan Gregg said the teen had undergone surgery and was listed in critical condition. ‘He just darted right out into traffic grabbed his skateboard and ran right back into the path of the semi-truck that was traveling downhill,’ said Trooper Cliff Pratt.
