The 11th Republican debate is tonight in Detroit, and all eyes are on Donald Trump, who is coming off of Super Tuesday wins in seven states. Trump skippedout on the last Fox-hosted debate in January after feuding with Fox News host Megyn Kelly in August. This will be their first meeting since their very public fight. Ben Carson announced yesterday he would not join the four remaining GOP presidential hopefuls after a disappointing Super Tuesday run. He’ll address the future of his campaign on Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference. The debate will air on Fox News and online at 8 CT / 6 PT.
U.S. News & World Report has unveiled the 2016 Best Places to Live in the United States. The new list ranks the country’s 100 largest metropolitan areas based on affordability, job prospects and quality of life. Denver, Colorado, is named the No. 1 place to live. That’s followed by Austin, Texas, at No. 2. Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, take the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, respectively. A second Colorado city, Colorado Springs, rounds out the top five.

Mitt Romney is going to make what is being called a major speech about this year’s election today. There has been lots of speculation about what he will say. He has been critical of Donald Trump, but has not yet endorsed a candidate.
President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will both be at SXSW this year. The president will be a part of the Keynote Conversation as SXSW Interactive on March 11, and Michelle will give the keynote speech at the opening of SXSW Music on March 16.
Elderly woman in critical condition right now after being hit by Metro bus RENTON, Wash. –A Metro bus hit and severely injured an elderly woman Wednesday evening in Renton. The 79-year-old woman was crossing Rainier Avenue South at South 3rd Place at about 7:30 p.m. when she was hit. The woman was using the crosswalk, but the bus had a green light, according to police on the scene. Medics arrived moments later and transported the woman to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. As of Wednesday night she was listed in critical condition.
