I was encouraged by something my son said the other day and I want to share it with you, too. My son Hayden got braces recently. He was so excited. I don’t recall ever seeing someone excited to get braces. He was excited even knowing that there would be discomfort that came along with them. Curious as to why he was so excited, Hayden said, “Because I know how good my smile is going to look when the braces come off”.
I thought, wow, how great it is that he is able to look beyond the discomfort to what’s in store.
What a great reminder to you and I, that no matter how difficult or uncomfortable a circumstance may be now, it’s temporary.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 “…in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus in regard to you.”
In His grip-
Paul
