Federal judge to hear arguments on new Tsarnaev trial—A hearing is set for Tuesday for a federal judge to hear arguments on Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s request for a new trial. The defense has said that a Boston jury could not be objective. Tsarnaev was convicted and sentenced to death earlier this year for his role in the 2013 attack. A pair of package thieves took things to the next level last week in Pierce County. Both were caught on video, carrying guns, stealing packages, and then forcing their way inside a home in Graham. Police believe the pair wouldn’t have hesitated to shoot the home owner or his wife if they’d been home when the break-in occurred. Detectives are hoping someone will recognize the two men seen in the video. The first suspect is described as a man in his 20s with dark busy hair and a mustache. He was wearing a black and red jacket, a plaid collared shirt, jeans and white sneakers. The second suspect also appears to be in his 20s. He was seen wearing a hoodie, a knit pom-style beanie cap, tan pants and white sneakers.
