We are thankful for the men and women who have sacrificed so much and fought for our freedom. Will you join SPIRIT and recognize some of our local Military Heroes? Today we are recognizing Travis Marzolf. Read more about Travis below:
This faithful soldier and pilot endured 2 traumatic, year-long deployments to Afghanistan. While there he participated in many life threatening missions and was shot at repeatedly. He transported not only fellow service members (some of which were only in pieces) but also many civilians and even the Commander in Chief. He served 13 years toward his goal of being a career Warrant Officer when the government started their ‘reduction in forces’ program and ended his career in Feb 2015. He continues to serve through the WA National Guard and spent the majority of his summer fighting the fires in WA State. His character and commitment to serve have remained outstanding despite the monumental obstacles that have been thrown at him. He will always be my #1 Military Hero.
SPIRIT 105.3 would like to thank GEICO for helping us recognize Military Heroes.
