Police are investigating last nights explosion that injured one person and severely damaged a Bremerton motel. Reports of a gas leak at a Motel 6 in the 3400 block of 11th Street. The report of a gas leak happened about 30 minutes before the blast, and that the hotel was being evacuated when the explosion occurred. The injured person is a gas worker; they’ve been taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with critical burns.
